Winnipeg Blue Bombers vs Saskatchewan Roughriders Recap - Roughriders Win 19-17
The Roughriders grabbed a Week 12 victory over the Blue Bombers on Sunday, winning 19-17 at Mosaic Stadium.
The Roughriders earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -5.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 47.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
William Powell rushed for 59 yards, while Cody Fajardo added 8 yards in the win. Naaman Roosevelt and Shaq Evans added 93 and 81 receiving yards respectively.
Johnny Augustin rushed for 98 yards for Winnipeg, while Chris Streveler added 65 yards. Chris Streveler threw for 161 yards for the Blue Bombers, while receivers Kenny Lawler Jr. and Drew Wolitarsky had 67 and 30 yards respectively.
Winnipeg lost the offensive yardage battle to Saskatchewan 370-347 yards in Sunday's game. Saskatchewan had more first downs as that total ended up 23-21.
Winnipeg led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:16-26:44 split in that important category.
