RedBlacks Fall 28-21 Against Toronto - Game Recap

The RedBlacks were burned by S.J. Green for 170 receiving yards on Friday as the Argonauts picked up a 28-21 win at BMO Field.

Toronto was the ATS victor, as they covered the -2.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 47.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

James Wilder Jr. rushed for 82 yards, while McLeod Bethel-Thompson added 8 yards in the win. S.J. Green and Armanti Edwards added 170 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Greg Morris rushed for 36 yards for Ottawa, while Brendan Gillanders added 15 yards. Will Arndt threw for 288 yards for the RedBlacks, while receivers R.J. Harris and Dominique Rhymes had 96 and 70 yards respectively.

Ottawa lost the offensive yardage battle to Toronto 398-347 yards in Friday's game. Toronto had more first downs as that total ended up 28-22.

Ottawa lost the time of possession battle 31:04-28:56, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Toronto takes its act on the road to face Montreal looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head on the road to face Hamilton.
