Calgary Falls 18-16 to Blue Bombers - Recap

Rasheed Bailey was good for 108 receiving yards on Sunday as the Blue Bombers grabbed a 18-16 win over the Stampeders at IG Field.

Winnipeg did not, however, defeat the Stampeders against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 44.0.

Andrew Harris rushed for 81 yards, while Rasheed Bailey added 5 yards in the win. Rasheed Bailey and Kenny Lawler Jr. added 108 and 94 receiving yards respectively.

Ka'Deem Carey rushed for 66 yards for Calgary, while Ante Milanovic-Litre added 14 yards. Jake Maier threw for 307 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Josh Huff and Kamar Jorden had 92 and 77 yards respectively.

Calgary outgained Winnipeg 394-333 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 20-16 by the Stampeders.

The time of possession battle favored Calgary as their offense was on the field for 32:53, longer than the 27:07 of their opponents.

Next game, Winnipeg takes its act on the road to face Saskatchewan looking for another win. For Calgary, they head home to face Edmonton.
