Recap - Blue Bombers Defeat Toronto 23-22

The Blue Bombers were Week 4 winners on Monday, coming out on top of the Argonauts by a score of 23-22 at BMO Field.

Bettors who backed the Blue Bombers were disappointed, as they failed to cover the closing number of -3.5. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 43.5.

Brady Oliveira rushed for 28 yards, while Greg McCrae added 18 yards in the win. Dalton Schoen and Greg Ellingson added 73 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Andrew Harris rushed for 111 yards for Toronto, while McLeod Bethel-Thompson added 1 yards. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 314 yards for the Argonauts, while receivers Brandon Banks and Kurleigh Gittens Jr. had 95 and 67 yards respectively.

Winnipeg lost the offensive yardage battle to Toronto 426-275 yards in Monday's game. Toronto had more first downs as that total ended up 26-15.

Toronto lost the time of possession battle 30:56-29:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Winnipeg heads into a Week 5 battle against the Lions. Toronto, meanwhile, will have their next action against Saskatchewan.
