REDBLACKS Fall 17-3 Against Calgary - Game Recap

The REDBLACKS came up short against the Stampeders in Week 9 action on Friday, falling 17-3 at TD Place Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Stampeders were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -4.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 49.5.

Dedrick Mills rushed for 100 yards, while Tommy Stevens added 4 yards in the win. Reggie Begelton and Dedrick Mills added 50 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

Ottawa outgained Calgary 319-252 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-13 by the REDBLACKS.

The time of possession battle favored Calgary as their offense was on the field for 33:39, longer than the 26:21 of their opponents.

Next game, Calgary takes its act home to face British Columbia looking for another win. For Ottawa, they head home to face Edmonton.
