Calgary Falls 24-11 to Blue Bombers - Recap

The Blue Bombers got a 2-TD performance from Zach Collaros as Winnipeg handed Calgary a 24-11 defeat on Friday at IG Field.

Winnipeg won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 46.0.

Zach Collaros completed 20 of 28 pass attempts for 231 yards and 2 TDs for the Blue Bombers in the win.

Dedrick Mills rushed for 97 yards for Calgary, while Tommy Stevens added 11 yards. Tommy Stevens threw for 5 yards for the Stampeders, while receivers Reggie Begelton and Tre Odoms-Dukes had 51 and 44 yards respectively.

Calgary lost the offensive yardage battle to Winnipeg 332-234 yards in Friday's game. Winnipeg had more first downs as that total ended up 19-14.

Winnipeg led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:28-26:32 split in that important category.

Next game, Winnipeg takes its act on the road to face Ottawa looking for another win. For Calgary, they head on the road to face Saskatchewan.
