REDBLACKS vs Roughriders Final: 36-28 - Recap

Devonte Williams ran for 136 yards as Ottawa handled Saskatchewan by a score of 36-28 on Friday at TD Place Stadium.

Ottawa won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 48.0.

Devonte Williams rushed for 136 yards, while Dustin Crum added 53 yards in the win. Jaelon Acklin and Justin Hardy added 66 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Frankie Hickson rushed for 77 yards for Saskatchewan, while Jake Dolegala added 8 yards. Jake Dolegala threw for 294 yards for the Roughriders, while receivers Kian Schaffer-Baker and Jerreth Sterns had 76 and 72 yards respectively.

Saskatchewan lost the offensive yardage battle to Ottawa 436-384 yards in Friday's game. Ottawa had more first downs as that total ended up 28-23.

The time of possession battle favored Saskatchewan as their offense was on the field for 35:06, longer than the 24:54 of their opponents.

Next game, Ottawa takes its act home to face Montreal looking for another win. For Saskatchewan, they head on the road to face British Columbia.
