USC Defeats UCLA 43-38 - Recap

Kedon Slovis sliced and diced the Bruins defense for 344 yards as USC handed UCLA a 43-38 defeat on Saturday at Rose Bowl.

USC won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 65.0.

Kedon Slovis completed 30 of 47 pass attempts for 344 yards for the Trojans in the win.

Demetric Felton rushed for 90 yards for UCLA, while Dorian Thompson-Robinson added 50 yards. Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw for 364 yards for the Bruins, while receivers Greg Dulcich and Kyle Philips had 167 and 63 yards respectively.

USC was outgained by UCLA 549-444 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-24 by the Bruins.

UCLA lost the time of possession battle 31:40-28:20, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
