West Virginia Defeats TCU 24-6 - Recap

West Virginia got a 156-yard performance from Leddie Brown as a key part of its 24-6 victory over the Horned Frogs on Saturday at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Mountaineers were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -3.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 44.0.

Leddie Brown rushed for 156 yards, while T.J. Simmons added 16 yards in the win. T.J. Simmons and Winston Wright Jr. added 90 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Kendre Miller rushed for 58 yards for TCU, while Max Duggan added 19 yards. Max Duggan threw for 161 yards for the Horned Frogs, while receivers Emari Demercado and Taye Barber had 66 and 39 yards respectively.

West Virginia outgained TCU 392-295 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 19-18 by the Horned Frogs.

TCU lost the time of possession battle 34:20-25:40, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

West Virginia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Oklahoma. TCU will aim to get back on the winning track at Kansas.
