Arkansas State Falls 37-24 to Tigers - Recap

Rodrigues Clark ran for 105 yards as Memphis handled Arkansas State by a score of 37-24 on Saturday at Liberty Bowl Memorial.

The Tigers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -18.0-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Rodrigues Clark rushed for 105 yards, while Kylan Watkins added 52 yards in the win. Sean Dykes and Damonte Coxie added 137 and 90 receiving yards respectively.

Jamal Jones rushed for 64 yards for Arkansas State, while Isaiah Azubuike added 39 yards. Logan Bonner threw for 133 yards for the Red Wolves, while receivers Dahu Green and Jonathan Adams Jr. had 99 and 65 yards respectively.

Arkansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Memphis 502-424 yards in Saturday's game. Memphis had more first downs as that total ended up 29-25.

Memphis led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:20-25:40 split in that important category.

Memphis looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Houston. Arkansas State will aim to get back on the winning track at Kansas State.
