Central Michigan Defeats NIU 40-10 - Recap

Central Michigan cruised to victory on Wednesday, as they ran up a 40-10 score against NIU in Week 11 action at Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium.

The Chippewas were a -6.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 57.0.

Lew Nichols III rushed for 91 yards, while Kobe Lewis added 59 yards in the win. Dallas Dixon and Lew Nichols III added 73 and 59 receiving yards respectively.

Erin Collins rushed for 43 yards for NIU, while Harrison Waylee added 23 yards. Andrew Haidet threw for 31 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Tyrice Richie and Cole Tucker had 70 and 53 yards respectively.

NIU lost the offensive yardage battle to Central Michigan 433-244 yards in Wednesday's game. Central Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 16-13.

NIU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:53-27:07 split in that important category.

Next game, Central Michigan takes its act home to face Western Michigan looking for another win. For NIU, they head on the road to face Ball State.
