NIU Huskies vs Ball State Cardinals Wrap - Ball State Wins 31-25
Caleb Huntley ran for 103 yards as Ball State handled NIU by a score of 31-25 on Wednesday at Scheumann Stadium.
Ball State did not, however, defeat the Huskies against the spread, which closed at -14.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 58.5.

NIU was outgained by Ball State 415-412 yards in Wednesday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-23 by the Huskies.
The time of possession battle favored NIU as their offense was on the field for 32:10, longer than the 27:50 of their opponents.
Ball State heads into a Week 13 battle against Toledo. NIU, meanwhile, will have their next action against Western Michigan.
