Razorbacks Fall 52-3 Against Alabama - Game Recap
The battle between the Crimson Tide and Razorbacks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Arkansas was handed a 52-3 defeat on Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Bettors who backed the Crimson Tide were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as a favorite of -28.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 69.5.
Jase McClellan rushed for 95 yards, while Brian Robinson Jr. added 54 yards in the win. John Metchie III and Miller Forristall added 72 and 52 receiving yards respectively.
Trelon Smith rushed for 69 yards for Arkansas, while T.J. Hammonds added 25 yards. Feleipe Franks threw for 90 yards for the Razorbacks, while receivers Mike Woods and Trelon Smith had 43 and 24 yards respectively.
Arkansas lost the offensive yardage battle to Alabama 443-188 yards in Saturday's game. Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 24-13.
Arkansas lost the time of possession battle 33:15-26:45, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
