Wildcats Down NC State 23-21 - Match Report
Asim Rose tore up the turf for 148 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Wildcats to a 23-21 win over the Wolfpack at TIAA Bank Field.
Kentucky did not, however, defeat the Wolfpack against the spread, which closed at -3.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 50.0.
Asim Rose rushed for 148 yards, while Chris Rodriguez Jr. added 84 yards in the win. Keaton Upshaw and Isaiah Epps added 25 and 23 receiving yards respectively.
Zonovan Knight rushed for 52 yards for NC State, while Jordan Houston added 14 yards. Bailey Hockman threw for 268 yards for the Wolfpack, while receivers Thayer Thomas and Emeka Emezie had 46 and 44 yards respectively.
Kentucky led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 34:07-25:53 split in that important category.
