Tulsa Golden Hurricane vs Oklahoma State Cowboys Recap - Cowboys Win 28-23

The Cowboys were Week 2 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Golden Hurricane by a score of 28-23 at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Oklahoma State did not, however, defeat the Golden Hurricane against the spread, which closed at -11.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 50.5.

Spencer Sanders rushed for 62 yards, while Jaylen Warren added 37 yards in the win. Jaden Bray and Brennan Presley added 84 and 35 receiving yards respectively.

Davis Brin rushed for 37 yards for Tulsa, while Deneric Prince added 34 yards. Davis Brin threw for 224 yards for the Golden Hurricane, while receivers JuanCarlos Santana and Sam Crawford Jr. had 61 and 57 yards respectively.

Oklahoma State lost the offensive yardage battle to Tulsa 347-313 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma State had more first downs as that total ended up 19-18.

The time of possession battle favored Tulsa as their offense was on the field for 31:33, longer than the 28:27 of their opponents.

Next game, Oklahoma State takes its act on the road to face Boise State looking for another win. For Tulsa, they head on the road to face Ohio State.
