Huskies Fall 30-28 Against Vanderbilt - Game Recap

Ken Seals sliced and diced the Huskies defense for 333 yards as Vanderbilt handed UCONN a 30-28 defeat on Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium.

Vanderbilt won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 51.0.

Ken Seals completed 27 of 40 pass attempts for 333 yards for the Commodores in the win.

Nathan Carter rushed for 123 yards for UCONN, while Steven Krajewski added 42 yards. Steven Krajewski threw for 264 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Keelan Marion and Jay Rose had 102 and 91 yards respectively.

Vanderbilt lost the offensive yardage battle to UCONN 523-439 yards in Saturday's game. UCONN had more first downs as that total ended up 25-23.

Vanderbilt led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:50-28:10 split in that important category.

Vanderbilt heads into a Week 6 battle against Florida. UCONN, meanwhile, will have their next action against Massachusetts.
