Tigers vs Mean Green Final: 48-35 - Recap
Tyler Badie scampered through the North Texas defense for 217 yards as Missouri handed the Mean Green a 48-35 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field.
The Tigers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -18.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 68.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Tyler Badie rushed for 217 yards, while Dawson Downing added 73 yards in the win. JJ Hester and Keke Chism added 41 and 31 receiving yards respectively.
DeAndre Torrey rushed for 85 yards for North Texas, while Austin Aune added 59 yards. Austin Aune threw for 305 yards for the Mean Green, while receivers Damon Ward Jr. and Roderic Burns had 81 and 71 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Missouri as their offense was on the field for 31:48, longer than the 28:12 of their opponents.
Next game, Missouri takes its act home to face Texas A&M looking for another win. For North Texas, they head home to face Marshall.
