Wisconsin Defeats Army 20-14 - Recap
Braelon Allen scampered through the Army defense for 108 yards as Wisconsin handed the Black Knights a 20-14 defeat on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
Wisconsin did not, however, defeat the Black Knights against the spread, which closed at -14.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 37.0.
Braelon Allen rushed for 108 yards, while Chez Mellusi added 66 yards in the win. Jake Ferguson and Danny Davis III added 58 and 48 receiving yards respectively.
Tyhier Tyler rushed for 90 yards for Army, while Tyrell Robinson added 45 yards. Jabari Laws threw for 87 yards for the Black Knights, while receivers A.J. Howard and Isaiah Alston had 36 and 34 yards respectively.
Army lost the offensive yardage battle to Wisconsin 310-266 yards in Saturday's game. Wisconsin had more first downs as that total ended up 18-13.
Wisconsin led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:00-28:59 split in that important category.
Wisconsin heads into a Week 8 battle against Purdue. Army, meanwhile, will have their next action against Wake Forest.
