Recap - Knights Defeat Temple 49-7
UCF cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 49-7 score against Temple in Week 9 action at Lincoln Financial Field.
UCF won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -12.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 52.0.
Isaiah Bowser rushed for 89 yards, while Johnny Richardson added 42 yards in the win. Alec Holler and Ryan O'Keefe added 87 and 72 receiving yards respectively.
Ra'Von Bonner rushed for 35 yards for Temple, while Justin Lynch added 27 yards. Justin Lynch threw for 46 yards for the Owls, while receivers Jose Barbon and Randle Jones had 45 and 26 yards respectively.
Temple lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 428-297 yards in Saturday's game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 25-15.
UCF lost the time of possession battle 31:40-28:20, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
UCF looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Tulane. Temple will aim to get back on the winning track at East Carolina.
