Jerreth Sterns caught 11 passes for 110 yards against the Middle Tennessee defense as WKU handed the Blue Raiders a 48-21 loss on Saturday at Houchens-Smith Stadium.
WKU was a favorite by -17.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 67.0.
Noah Whittington rushed for 67 yards, while Kye Robichaux added 6 yards in the win. Jerreth Sterns and Mitchell Tinsley added 110 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Frank Peasant rushed for 78 yards for Middle Tennessee, while Mike DiLiello added 17 yards. Nicholas Vattiato threw for 205 yards for the Blue Raiders, while receivers DJ England-Chisolm and Yusuf Ali had 69 and 60 yards respectively.
WKU lost the time of possession battle 33:02-26:58, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
