Crimson Tide vs Tigers Final: 24-22 - Recap
Bryce Young's 317-yard performance through the air was the key in Alabama's 24-22 win over Auburn on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Alabama did not, however, defeat the Tigers against the spread, which closed at -20.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.0.
Bryce Young completed 25 of 51 pass attempts for 317 yards for the Crimson Tide in the win.
Tank Bigsby rushed for 63 yards for Auburn, while Jarquez Hunter added 2 yards. T.J. Finley threw for 137 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Demetris Robertson and Kobe Hudson had 39 and 33 yards respectively.
Auburn was outgained by Alabama 388-159 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-12 by the Crimson Tide.
Alabama lost the time of possession battle 30:36-29:24, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
