Crimson Tide vs Warhawks Final: 63-7 - Recap
The battle between the Crimson Tide and Warhawks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Louisiana-Monroe was handed a 63-7 defeat on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama was a favorite by -49.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 61.5.
Roydell Williams rushed for 58 yards, while Jamarion Miller added 51 yards in the win. Jahmyr Gibbs and Traeshon Holden added 65 and 60 receiving yards respectively.
Malik Jackson rushed for 36 yards for Louisiana-Monroe, while Isaiah Phillips added 26 yards. Chandler Rogers threw for 96 yards for the Warhawks, while receivers Zach Rasmussen and Tyrone Howell had 39 and 16 yards respectively.
Louisiana-Monroe lost the offensive yardage battle to Alabama 509-169 yards in Saturday's game. Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 23-11.
Louisiana-Monroe led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:23-23:37 split in that important category.
Alabama looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Vanderbilt. Louisiana-Monroe will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Louisiana-Lafayette.
