Bulldogs Fall 30-6 Against Alabama - Game Recap

Mississippi State couldn't hang with the Crimson Tide on Saturday as Alabama blasted the Bulldogs 30-6 in Week 8 action at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama was a favorite by -21.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 61.0.

Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 37 yards, while Jase McClellan added 9 yards in the win. Ja'Corey Brooks and Jermaine Burton added 74 and 40 receiving yards respectively.

Alabama was outgained by Mississippi State 293-290 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-20 by the Crimson Tide.

Mississippi State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:29-29:31 split in that important category.
