Gamecocks Fall 23-10 Against Missouri - Game Recap

Missouri won 23-10 on Saturday against South Carolina behind a 148-yard receiving performance from Dominic Lovett at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Missouri won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +3.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 45.5.

Cody Schrader rushed for 81 yards, while Brady Cook added 53 yards in the win. Dominic Lovett and Cody Schrader added 148 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

MarShawn Lloyd rushed for 30 yards for South Carolina, while Christian Beal-Smith added 3 yards. Spencer Rattler threw for 171 yards for the Gamecocks, while receivers Austin Stogner and Antwane Wells Jr. had 63 and 52 yards respectively.

South Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Missouri 367-203 yards in Saturday's game. Missouri had more first downs as that total ended up 20-14.

South Carolina lost the time of possession battle 36:35-23:25, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Missouri looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kentucky. South Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track at Vanderbilt.
