Syracuse Defeats UCONN 48-14 - Recap

Sean Tucker scampered through the UCONN defense for 112 yards as Syracuse handed the Huskies a 48-14 defeat on Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

Syracuse was a favorite by -24.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 49.0.

Sean Tucker rushed for 112 yards, while Garrett Shrader added 24 yards in the win. Damien Alford and Oronde Gadsden II added 47 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Nathan Carter rushed for 71 yards for UCONN, while Devontae Houston added 28 yards. Zion Turner threw for 92 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Aaron Turner and Devontae Houston had 71 and 15 yards respectively.

Syracuse outgained UCONN 465-202 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-10 by the Orange.

UCONN lost the time of possession battle 34:52-25:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Syracuse takes its act home to face Purdue looking for another win. For UCONN, they head on the road to face Michigan.
