Miami-FL Falls 40-10 to Tigers - Recap
The battle between the Tigers and Hurricanes didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Miami-FL was handed a 40-10 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Clemson was a favorite by -19.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 47.5.
DJ Uiagalelei rushed for 89 yards, while Will Shipley added 61 yards in the win. Jake Briningstool and Davis Allen added 57 and 35 receiving yards respectively.
Jacurri Brown rushed for 22 yards for Miami-FL, while Henry Parrish Jr. added 12 yards. Jake Garcia threw for 15 yards for the Hurricanes, while receivers Will Mallory and Colbie Young had 42 and 25 yards respectively.
Miami-FL lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 447-98 yards in Saturday's game. Clemson had more first downs as that total ended up 27-6.
Clemson led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 38:15-21:45 split in that important category.
Clemson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against South Carolina. Miami-FL will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Pittsburgh.
