Minutemen Fall 28-0 Against Temple - Game Recap

Adonicas Sanders caught 4 passes for 101 yards against the Massachusetts defense as Temple handed the Minutemen a 28-0 loss on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.

Temple was the ATS victor, as they covered the -10.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 44.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Quincy Patterson rushed for 52 yards, while Darvon Hubbard added 51 yards in the win. Adonicas Sanders and David Martin-Robinson added 101 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Ellis Merriweather rushed for 53 yards for Massachusetts, while Gino Campiotti added 47 yards. Brady Olson threw for 9 yards for the Minutemen, while receivers Cam Sullivan-Brown and George Johnson III had 46 and 19 yards respectively.

Massachusetts lost the offensive yardage battle to Temple 313-259 yards in Saturday's game. Temple had more first downs as that total ended up 18-13.

The time of possession battle favored Massachusetts as their offense was on the field for 33:17, longer than the 26:43 of their opponents.

Temple looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Memphis. Massachusetts will aim to get back on the winning track at Eastern Michigan.
