UNLV Rebels vs Utah State Aggies Wrap - UNLV Wins 34-24
The Aggies came up short against the Rebels in Week 4 action on Saturday, falling 34-24 at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
UNLV won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 62.0.
Aidan Robbins rushed for 81 yards, while Courtney Reese added 16 yards in the win. Jeff Weimer and Nick Williams added 57 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Calvin Tyler Jr. rushed for 54 yards for Utah State, while Robert Briggs added 33 yards. Logan Bonner threw for 313 yards for the Aggies, while receivers Justin McGriff and Brian Cobbs had 103 and 83 yards respectively.
UNLV was outgained by Utah State 421-320 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-21 by the Aggies.
Utah State lost the time of possession battle 34:30-25:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, UNLV takes its act home to face New Mexico looking for another win. For Utah State, they head on the road to face BYU.
