Arkansas State Red Wolves vs Memphis Tigers Recap - Tigers Win 44-32

Seth Henigan sliced and diced the Red Wolves defense for 360 yards as Memphis handed Arkansas State a 44-32 defeat on Saturday at Liberty Bowl Memorial.

Memphis won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -14.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 64.0.

Seth Henigan completed 19 of 28 pass attempts for 360 yards for the Tigers in the win.

Brian Snead rushed for 66 yards for Arkansas State, while Johnnie Lang added 41 yards. James Blackman threw for 275 yards for the Red Wolves, while receivers Seydou Traore and Johnnie Lang had 120 and 63 yards respectively.

Arkansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Memphis 547-370 yards in Saturday's game. Memphis had more first downs as that total ended up 25-22.

The time of possession battle favored Memphis as their offense was on the field for 30:09, longer than the 29:51 of their opponents.

Memphis looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against North Texas. Arkansas State will aim to get back on the winning track at Old Dominion.
