Owls Fall 27-16 Against Tulsa - Game Recap

Tulsa got a 231-yard performance from Deneric Prince as a key part of its 27-16 victory over the Owls on Friday at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Golden Hurricane earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -13.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 53.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Deneric Prince rushed for 231 yards, while Steven Anderson added 64 yards in the win. JuanCarlos Santana and Keylon Stokes added 44 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Edward Saydee rushed for 69 yards for Temple, while Zae Baines added 16 yards. E.J. Warner threw for 196 yards for the Owls, while receivers Amad Anderson Jr. and Jose Barbon had 112 and 56 yards respectively.

Temple was outgained by Tulsa 454-280 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-16 by the Golden Hurricane.

Tulsa led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:51-28:09 split in that important category.

Next game, Tulsa takes its act home to face SMU looking for another win. For Temple, they head on the road to face Navy.
