Troy Defeats WKU 34-27 - Recap

DK Billingsley scampered through the WKU defense for 122 yards as Troy handed the Hilltoppers a 34-27 defeat on Saturday at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.

Troy was an underdog by +4.0 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 55.0.

DK Billingsley rushed for 122 yards, while Kimani Vidal added 26 yards in the win. Tez Johnson and Deshon Stoudemire added 105 and 93 receiving yards respectively.

Kye Robichaux rushed for 50 yards for WKU, while Austin Reed added 10 yards. Austin Reed threw for 406 yards for the Hilltoppers, while receivers Michael Mathison and Daewood Davis had 160 and 122 yards respectively.

WKU outgained Troy 470-415 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 29-25 by the Hilltoppers.

The time of possession battle favored Troy as their offense was on the field for 30:12, longer than the 29:48 of their opponents.

Next game, Troy takes its act home to face Southern Miss looking for another win. For WKU, they head on the road to face UTSA.
