Razorbacks Down Kent State 28-6 - Match Report

Kent State couldn't hang with the Razorbacks on Saturday as Arkansas blasted the Golden Flashes 28-6 in Week 2 action at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The Razorbacks earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -38.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 57.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.

AJ Green rushed for 82 yards, while KJ Jefferson added 48 yards in the win. Isaac TeSlaa and Jaedon Wilson added 51 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

Gavin Garcia rushed for 68 yards for Kent State, while Xavier Williams added 3 yards. Michael Alaimo threw for 174 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Trell Harris and Justin Holmes had 78 and 49 yards respectively.

Kent State lost the offensive yardage battle to Arkansas 308-200 yards in Saturday's game. Arkansas had more first downs as that total ended up 19-14.

Kent State lost the time of possession battle 32:16-27:44, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Arkansas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against BYU. Kent State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Central Connecticut State.
