Cougars vs Razorbacks Final: 38-31 - Recap

BYU earned a 38-31 victory over Arkansas on Saturday in Week 3 action at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Bettors who backed the Cougars were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +8.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 47.5.

LJ Martin rushed for 77 yards, while Deion Smith added 5 yards in the win. Isaac Rex and Parker Kingston added 57 and 46 receiving yards respectively.

AJ Green rushed for 86 yards for Arkansas, while Rashod Dubinion added 47 yards. KJ Jefferson threw for 247 yards for the Razorbacks, while receivers Andrew Armstrong and Luke Hasz had 98 and 78 yards respectively.

BYU lost the offensive yardage battle to Arkansas 424-281 yards in Saturday's game. Arkansas had more first downs as that total ended up 21-17.

The time of possession battle favored Arkansas as their offense was on the field for 35:10, longer than the 24:50 of their opponents.

Next game, BYU takes its act on the road to face Kansas looking for another win. For Arkansas, they head on the road to face LSU.
