Recap - Horned Frogs Defeat Houston 36-13
Chandler Morris was good for 314 yards through the air on Saturday as the Horned Frogs got past the Cougars by a score of 36-13 at TDECU Stadium.
The Horned Frogs were a -7.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 64.5.
Chandler Morris completed 24 of 37 pass attempts for 314 yards for the Horned Frogs in the win.
Stacy Sneed rushed for 36 yards for Houston, while Parker Jenkins added 15 yards. Donovan Smith threw for 225 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Samuel Brown and Matthew Golden had 99 and 56 yards respectively.
Houston lost the offensive yardage battle to TCU 564-266 yards in Saturday's game. TCU had more first downs as that total ended up 35-12.
Houston lost the time of possession battle 34:00-26:00, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
TCU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against SMU. Houston will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Sam Houston State.
