Oregon State Defeats San Diego State 26-9 - Recap

Damien Martinez ran for 102 yards as Oregon State handled San Diego State by a score of 26-9 on Saturday at Reser Stadium.

Oregon State did not, however, defeat the Aztecs against the spread, which closed at -24.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.0.

Damien Martinez rushed for 102 yards, while Deshaun Fenwick added 49 yards in the win. Anthony Gould and Jack Velling added 97 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

Jaylon Armstead rushed for 48 yards for San Diego State, while Kenan Christon added 14 yards. Jalen Mayden threw for 256 yards for the Aztecs, while receivers Mark Redman and Brionne Penny had 77 and 77 yards respectively.

San Diego State lost the offensive yardage battle to Oregon State 475-326 yards in Saturday's game. Oregon State had more first downs as that total ended up 20-18.

Oregon State lost the time of possession battle 33:21-26:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Oregon State takes its act on the road to face Washington State looking for another win. For San Diego State, they head home to face Boise State.
