Georgia Southern Falls 35-14 to Badgers - Recap

Georgia Southern couldn't hang with the Badgers on Saturday as Wisconsin blasted the Eagles 35-14 in Week 3 action at Camp Randall Stadium.

Wisconsin was the ATS victor, as they covered the -20.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 65.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Braelon Allen rushed for 94 yards, while Chez Mellusi added 61 yards in the win. Chimere Dike and Hayden Rucci added 57 and 51 receiving yards respectively.

OJ Arnold rushed for 66 yards for Georgia Southern, while Jalen White added 19 yards. Davis Brin threw for 383 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Derwin Burgess Jr. and Khaleb Hood had 124 and 61 yards respectively.

Georgia Southern outgained Wisconsin 455-451 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-22 by the Eagles.

Wisconsin lost the time of possession battle 31:23-28:37, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Wisconsin looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Purdue. Georgia Southern will aim to get back on the winning track at Ball State.
