NIU Falls 22-14 to Golden Hurricane - Recap
Tulsa earned a 22-14 victory over NIU on Saturday in Week 4 action at Brigham Field at Huskie Stadium.
Tulsa was the ATS victor, as they covered the +4.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 54.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Anthony Watkins rushed for 91 yards, while Tahj Gary added 51 yards in the win. Kamdyn Benjamin and Devan Williams added 53 and 42 receiving yards respectively.
Justin Lynch rushed for 84 yards for NIU, while Antario Brown added 54 yards. Ethan Hampton threw for 97 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Grayson Barnes and Jalen Johnson had 40 and 23 yards respectively.
NIU outgained Tulsa 295-281 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-17 by the Huskies.
Tulsa lost the time of possession battle 32:21-27:39, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Tulsa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Temple. NIU will aim to get back on the winning track at Toledo.
