UCONN Falls 34-33 to Aggies - Recap
The Huskies were burned by Jalen Royals for 185 receiving yards on Saturday as the Aggies picked up a 34-33 win at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
The Aggies earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -3.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 51.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Cooper Legas rushed for 26 yards, while McCae Hillstead added 26 yards in the win. Jalen Royals and Colby Bowman added 185 and 63 receiving yards respectively.
Victor Rosa rushed for 92 yards for UCONN, while Cam Edwards added 73 yards. Ta'Quan Roberson threw for 255 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Cameron Ross and Brett Buckman had 70 and 56 yards respectively.
UCONN outgained Utah State 473-416 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-21 by the Huskies.
UCONN led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 38:29-21:31 split in that important category.
Next game, Utah State takes its act home to face Colorado State looking for another win. For UCONN, they head on the road to face Rice.
