Recap - Trojans Defeat Arizona 43-41
The Trojans grabbed a Week 6 victory over the Wildcats on Saturday, winning 43-41 at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Trojans earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -21.0-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 69.0 were rewarded with a winning wager.
MarShawn Lloyd rushed for 86 yards, while Caleb Williams added 41 yards in the win. Brenden Rice and Tahj Washington added 96 and 61 receiving yards respectively.
Jonah Coleman rushed for 143 yards for Arizona, while DJ Williams added 45 yards. Noah Fifita threw for 303 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Tetairoa McMillan and Jacob Cowing had 138 and 88 yards respectively.
USC lost the offensive yardage battle to Arizona 506-365 yards in Saturday's game. Arizona had more first downs as that total ended up 28-23.
The time of possession battle favored Arizona as their offense was on the field for 35:39, longer than the 24:21 of their opponents.
USC heads into a Week 7 battle against Notre Dame. Arizona, meanwhile, will have their next action against Washington State.
