Tigers vs Tigers Final: 49-39 - Recap

Logan Diggs tore up the turf for 134 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Tigers to a 49-39 win over the Tigers at Memorial Stadium at Faurot Field.

LSU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 63.5.

Logan Diggs rushed for 134 yards, while Jayden Daniels added 130 yards in the win. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. added 146 and 66 receiving yards respectively.

Cody Schrader rushed for 114 yards for Missouri, while Nathaniel Peat added 9 yards. Brady Cook threw for 395 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Luther Burden III and Mookie Cooper had 149 and 80 yards respectively.

Missouri was outgained by LSU 533-527 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-23 by the Tigers.

LSU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:20-27:40 split in that important category.

Next game, LSU takes its act home to face Auburn looking for another win. For Missouri, they head on the road to face Kentucky.
