Red Raiders Fall 38-21 Against Kansas State - Game Recap

Treshaun Ward tore up the turf for 118 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Wildcats to a 38-21 win over the Red Raiders at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Kansas State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +1.0-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 57.5.

Treshaun Ward rushed for 118 yards, while Avery Johnson added 90 yards in the win. Ben Sinnott and Phillip Brooks added 72 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Tahj Brooks rushed for 98 yards for Texas Tech, while Jake Strong added 54 yards. Jake Strong threw for 173 yards for the Red Raiders, while receivers Coy Eakin and Jerand Bradley had 102 and 46 yards respectively.

Kansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas Tech 480-435 yards in Saturday's game. Kansas State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-23.

The time of possession battle favored Kansas State as their offense was on the field for 32:27, longer than the 27:15 of their opponents.

Next game, Kansas State takes its act home to face TCU looking for another win. For Texas Tech, they head on the road to face BYU.
