Bruins Down Stanford 42-7 - Match Report

The battle between the Bruins and Cardinal didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as Stanford was handed a 42-7 defeat on Saturday at Stanford Stadium.

The Bruins were a -17.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 52.0.

Carson Steele rushed for 76 yards, while T.J. Harden added 55 yards in the win. Hudson Habermehl and J.Michael Sturdivant added 54 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Sedrick Irvin rushed for 16 yards for Stanford, while Mudia Reuben added 13 yards. Ashton Daniels threw for 268 yards for the Cardinal, while receivers Elic Ayomanor and Tiger Bachmeier had 90 and 75 yards respectively.

UCLA outgained Stanford 503-292 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 32-15 by the Bruins.

Stanford lost the time of possession battle 36:56-23:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

UCLA looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Colorado. Stanford will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Washington.
