Volunteers Fall 34-20 Against Alabama - Game Recap

Jase McClellan tore up the turf for 115 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Crimson Tide to a 34-20 win over the Volunteers at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Crimson Tide were a -8.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 47.5.

Jase McClellan rushed for 115 yards, while Roydell Williams added 20 yards in the win. Isaiah Bond and Jermaine Burton added 77 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Joe Milton III rushed for 59 yards for Tennessee, while Dylan Sampson added 28 yards. Joe Milton III threw for 271 yards for the Volunteers, while receivers Squirrel White and Ramel Keyton had 111 and 71 yards respectively.

Tennessee outgained Alabama 404-358 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-20 by the Volunteers.

Tennessee lost the time of possession battle 32:19-27:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Alabama takes its act home to face LSU looking for another win. For Tennessee, they head on the road to face Kentucky.
