Boise State Defeats New Mexico 42-14 - Recap

Prince Strachan was good for 128 receiving yards on Saturday as the Broncos grabbed a 42-14 win over the Lobos at Albertsons Stadium.

Boise State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -27.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 58.5.

George Holani rushed for 95 yards, while Jambres Dubar added 91 yards in the win. Prince Strachan and Austin Bolt added 128 and 57 receiving yards respectively.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 73 yards for New Mexico, while Devon Dampier added 48 yards. Devon Dampier threw for 200 yards for the Lobos, while receivers Caleb Medford and Trace Bruckler had 77 and 53 yards respectively.

New Mexico lost the offensive yardage battle to Boise State 484-323 yards in Saturday's game. Boise State had more first downs as that total ended up 24-21.

New Mexico led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:53-27:07 split in that important category.

Next game, Boise State takes its act on the road to face Utah State looking for another win. For New Mexico, they head on the road to face Fresno State.
