Recap - Knights Defeat Houston 27-13
The Cougars had no answer for RJ Harvey on Saturday as the Knights rolled to a 27-13 win at FBC Mortgage Stadium.
UCF won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -16.0-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 60.5.
RJ Harvey rushed for 136 yards, while John Rhys Plumlee added 58 yards in the win. Kobe Hudson and Javon Baker added 98 and 59 receiving yards respectively.
Stacy Sneed rushed for 33 yards for Houston, while Donovan Smith added 24 yards. Donovan Smith threw for 161 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Joseph Manjack IV and Stephon Johnson had 74 and 69 yards respectively.
Houston lost the offensive yardage battle to UCF 476-259 yards in Saturday's game. UCF had more first downs as that total ended up 23-17.
Houston lost the time of possession battle 34:56-25:04, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
