Utah State Aggies vs New Mexico Lobos Wrap - Utah State Wins 44-41
The Lobos had no answer for Levi Williams on Friday as the Aggies rolled to a 44-41 win at University Stadium.
Utah State did not, however, defeat the Lobos against the spread, which closed at -4.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 58.5.
Levi Williams rushed for 153 yards, while Rahsul Faison added 106 yards in the win. Jalen Royals and Colby Bowman added 89 and 53 receiving yards respectively.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 233 yards for New Mexico, while Andrew Henry added 82 yards. Devon Dampier threw for 77 yards for the Lobos, while receivers Jeremiah Hixon and Ryan Davis had 49 and 44 yards respectively.
New Mexico outgained Utah State 539-500 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 35-30 by the Lobos.
The time of possession battle favored New Mexico as their offense was on the field for 31:27, longer than the 28:33 of their opponents.
