Recap - Huskies Defeat Arkansas State 21-19

NIU got a 132-yard performance from Antario Brown as a key part of its 21-19 victory over the Red Wolves on Saturday at Cramton Bowl.

NIU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 53.5.

Antario Brown rushed for 132 yards, while Gavin Williams added 40 yards in the win. Grayson Barnes and Trayvon Rudolph added 105 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

Jaylen Raynor rushed for 49 yards for Arkansas State, while Ja'Quez Cross added 28 yards. Jaylen Raynor threw for 250 yards for the Red Wolves, while receivers Corey Rucker and Jeff Foreman had 107 and 52 yards respectively.

Arkansas State lost the offensive yardage battle to NIU 421-351 yards in Saturday's game. NIU had more first downs as that total ended up 26-18.

NIU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 40:25-19:35 split in that important category.
