Recap - Golden Knights Defeat Detroit 4-1

Vegas skated to a 4-1 victory over Detroit on Saturday in NHL action at Little Caesars Arena.

Phil Kessel, Jack Eichel, Reilly Smith, and Jonathan Marchessault each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Eichel opened the scoring for Vegas.

Adin Hill turned in a 24-save effort for the Golden Knights.

Oskar Sundqvist scored for the Red Wings, finding the net behind Adin Hill.

Ville Husso stopped 21 of 24 shots for the Red Wings, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vegas went 1-for-1, while the Red Wings were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Vegas lost the shots on goal battle to Detroit by a margin of 25-25.

Vegas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Bruins. The Red Wings will aim to get back on the winning track at Columbus.
