Blue Jackets Fall 6-2 Against Carolina - Game Recap

Carolina earned a 6-2 victory over Columbus behind a 2-goal performance from Brett Pesce on Thursday at Nationwide Arena.

Carolina got goals from Brett Pesce(2), Brent Burns, Jalen Chatfield, Seth Jarvis, and Jaccob Slavin in the victory. Pesce opened the scoring at 2:34 of the first period.

Columbus got goals from Johnny Gaudreau, and Sean Kuraly in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Columbus got a 35-stop effort from Joonas Korpisalo in the loss.

On the power play, Carolina went 0-for-4, while the Blue Jackets were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Carolina outshot Columbus 41-23 in the game.
