St. Louis Skates Past New York 3-2 - Recap

St. Louis skated to a 3-2 victory over New York on Thursday in NHL action at Enterprise Center.

St. Louis got goals from Kasperi Kapanen, Tyler Pitlick, and Alexey Toropchenko in the victory. Toropchenko opened the scoring at 8:00 of the second period.

Vladimir Tarasenko, and Vincent Trocheck scored for the Rangers, finding the net behind Jordan Binnington.

New York got a 19-stop effort from Jaroslav Halak in the loss.

On the power play, St. Louis went 0-for-1, while the Rangers were 2-for-2 with the man advantage.

St. Louis lost the shots on goal battle to New York by a margin of 24-22.

Next game, St. Louis takes its act on the road to face Minnesota looking for another win. For New York, they head on the road to face Columbus.
